2020
Incidents of racism in counseling practice 2020
The Counseling Network for Victims of Racism has documented and evaluated 572 cases of racial discrimination for the year 2020. Most reported incidents of racial discrimination occurred at work and in the neighborhood. Xenophobia or xenophobia was the most-mentioned motive, followed by racism against blacks and anti-Muslim hostility. The focus was also on racist incidents in public spaces, during contacts with the administration and the police, and on the Internet. As a result of an adapted methodology for recording cases, the figures in this year's racism report cannot be compared with those from the previous year.
