Incidents of racism in counseling practice 2021

In 2021, 630 cases of racial discrimination were reported to the Counseling Network for Victims of Racism. Most incidents occurred at work and in education. Discrimination and insults were the most common forms of discrimination. The motives mentioned most often remained xenophobia and anti-black racism followed by anti-Muslim racism. The increasing hostility towards people from Asia was striking.
