Incidents of racism in counseling practice 2024

In 2024, the counseling network for victims ofracism documented and evaluated a total of 1,211 cases of racistdiscrimination. That is 335 more cases than in the previous year,representing an increase of almost 40%. Most incidents occurred ineducation, at work, and in public spaces. They most frequentlyinvolved xenophobia and anti-Black racism. There was also a sharpincrease in cases of anti-Muslim racism, while anti-Semitism remainedconsistently high.
